sfSoundSeries

The second in a series of summer programs featuring emerging composer-performers, we present the music of Bay Area musician Scott Rosenberg, performing a saxophone solo and premiering "Eeert" - a reed quartet written for sfSoundGroup. We round out Rosenberg's set with his infamous work, "hums", for any large ensemble.

Our orchestra returns for the second set, playing classic works in the genre: "Worker's Union" (1975) for any loud ensemble by Louis Andriessen, Morton Feldman's "box notation" piece "...Out of Last Pieces" (1961) and the all-vocal "She Was a Visitor" (1967) by Robert Ashley.

$12 general. $7 seniors/students/children/underemployed.
