Community Sound Project with Lisa Mezzacappa and Jon Brumit with special guests Suki O'Kane, Dan Plonsey and various members of Daniel Popsicle

Every Sunday in April 2007, extending into early May, Jon Brumit and Lisa Mezzecappa bring their portable recording studio and improvisation lab to the Laney College Flea Market in Oakland. People of all musical abilities and experience are invited to participate, and contribute a recording to the CD we are compiling in the recording van each week. An exhibition of artifacts and sounds from the flea market residency will be on display at 21 Grand in Oakland June-July 2007.
