Jozef van Wissem, originally from Holland, now living in New York, may be the world's only experimental lutenist.
By cutting-and-pasting classical pieces, constructing palindromic melodies, or adding electronics and processed field recordings, he manages to seamlessly bridge the musical languages of 17th and 21st centuries. His music is uncluttered and direct, with a viscerally hypnotic and emotional impact, and delivered with an ascetic intensity reflected both in his Biblical titles and his No Wave influences.

Tony Dryer and Jacob Felix Heule have been collaborating for at least five years, whether in their duo Basshaters or in larger groups like the Bay/Oslo Double Trio, and their quartet Sult.
