greensatan is the electronic music project of K. Atchley, rooted in improvisation and psychedelia. The music draws on noise, minimal techno, post-avant-garde electronics, and the sound design sensibility of horror film scores — building immersive, ritualistic sonic environments rather than conventional song forms.

Beyond composition, Atchley's written and text-based work spans an interpretive score for "14251" in SoundVisions (PFAU Neue Musik, Germany, 2005), the libretto for his opera Edison's Last Project(ION), lyrics for the choral work "Lumiere de Main" (published in the guests go in to supper, Burning Books), and an article on his opera "Don Giovanni" in the Leonardo Music Journal (Vol. 1, 1991). His work was also profiled in The Wire (issue #256).
