SF]The Del Sol String Quartet performs the 3rd and final concert in their 2013-14 “Soundings” series, featuring Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe’s “String Quartet No. 14” (1998) with didjeridu accompaniment by guest artist Stephen Kent. They will dive into the composer’s musical language and explore the piece in depth, with interactive discussion, followed by the world premiere of a new work by Nils Bultmann inspired by the Sculthorpe piece. A post-concert reception follows the performance.
